Brainstorming .Trying to figure out how to conjure up one of these...1970 Road Runner...one of my favorite B bodys...Maybe it was the grog...figured out that the front and the rear looked more than somewhat alike...Buy two...cut the back of one..move wheelwells...use it for a nose on the other.....One of my oldest surving conversions, this was created around 1980 from 2 Johan Superbirds. Not having the proper fenders, I used modified quarterpanels from the other car, scratchbuilt a hood and AirGrabber and used a rear bumper in the front as they are identical, except when one has the funny L shaped bumper guard option on the front..The correct 1/25 front bumper is available chromed in resin from the ModelHaus and others.Front grill is unknown resin aftermarket.Grafted in rear window from 69 Roadrunner. Superbird rear window is unique to that model.Over 22 years,it has been repainted 3 times, always orange.Other than a 440-6 transplant, the drivetrain, chassis and interior are all standard JoHan Superbird stuff.
